Thank you! Rembrandt is my favorite artist using dark and light so drastically. Sadly for me, these are the only three artworks that really speak to me. I did find what I think is the artist with the concept prior to Rembrandt though (I'll try getting a legal copy of the image to repost on this thread), in the Meadows Art Museum at Southern Methodist University (SMU) Dallas, TX. I also think I found the most important relic for potential world piece, currently located in Dallas. It is a plate with supposedly the finest combination of artistic technical advancement developed between the Jews, Christians and Muslims - during the time period of the Moors, living near the Iberian Peninsula (43°N 4°W). I still have to read up, but I am guessing this region was as economically vital and potentially volatile as the region of oil producing countries around Iraq (33°20′N 44°26′E).
